Jassim Alseddiqi is the Chief Executive Officer of SHUAA Capital psc, the DFM-listed entity and a leading asset management and investment banking platform created by the merger of SHUAA Capital and Abu Dhabi Financial Group (“ADFG”), with c. US$14 billion in assets under management and with offices throughout the Middle East and the United Kingdom
Jassim is known for his dynamic and innovative approach, having pioneered many investment strategies in the region. He is currently the Chairman of Gulf Finance House (GFH), SALAMA Islamic Arab Insurance Company, Eshraq Investments, Khaleeji Commercial Bank and The Entertainer. He also serves on the boards of First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), Abu Dhabi Capital Group, ADNOC Distribution and Dana Gas.
Jassim holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MSc in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University. He has also served as a noted lecturer at the Abu Dhabi-based Petroleum Institute.
Dr Al Hashemi has a wealth of experience from working in senior leadership positions across businesses, government and academia. Most recently, he was the Executive Director of Infrastructure and Environment at the General Secretariat of Abu Dhabi’s Executive Council.
Throughout his experience he has been leading innovative projects that include research and innovation centers. Currently, he holds the positions of Chief Executive Officer of Algorythma and Managing Director of Krypto Labs, which deals and incubates disruptive technologies.
Dr Al Hashemi holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Tufts University in the United States and has been published in leading journals.
Ajit Joshi is the Head of Public & Private markets at SHUAA Capital psc. He is responsible for overseeing the Group’s investments in publicly listed securities and private equities, while implementing a turnaround investment approach.
Ajit is also the investment manager of Goldilocks Investment Company Limited, an ADGM-domiciled fund managed by ADCM Altus Investment Management Limited, part of SHUAA Capital psc.
Ajit has over 12 years of professional experience in technology consulting, equity research, investment banking and investment management. Prior to joining the Group, he worked with Bank Muscat’s investment banking team where he advised and executed equity and debt advisory transactions across GCC’s petrochemicals, contracting, oil gas services, marine and hospitality sectors.
Ajit holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in computer engineering and holds an MBA from Indian Institute of Management Lucknow.
Jasim Al Ali brings years of experience and knowledge in property development and management to his role as the Chief Executive Officer of FAB Properties and Mismak Properties, where he is constantly exploring ways to enhance client experience, alongside growing the business.
An outstanding strategic thinker, Jasim has demonstrated a passion for service excellence in his role as the Head of Real Estate at First Abu Dhabi Bank, and now brings his exceptional brand of leadership to FAB Properties and Mismak Properties.
In addition to his management and executive positions, Jasim has been a non-Executive Independent Director of SHUAA Capital PSC since 2017, ESHRAQ and is the Vice Chairman of the Emirates Institute for Banking and Financial Studies (EIBFS). He also serves as a Board Member for FAB Islamic.
Prior to joining FAB Properties, Jasim held several key positions across major real estate companies in the UAE, most notably at Dubai Properties Group (DPG). As part of DPG, he has achieved significant successes as Executive Director of Salwan Property Management, and as Vice President of Dubai Asset Management.
Along with years of experience in the sector, Jasim also holds several educational degrees from prominent institutions in the US and UK, including an MBA from the University of Leicester, UK.
Shafiq is the Chairman and CEO of City Engineering & Contracting LLC, one of the largest contracting companies based in Dubai and Sharjah since 1999.
Shafiq is also the CEO of City Plaza Real Estate and City Living Property, which develops high-status residential buildings.
Shafiq has a good understanding and experience of project design to take the best decisions to minimise the construction material costs and identify efficient building processes.
Previously, Shafiq was one of the biggest developer in Sharjah designing a line of residential building with high quality finishing and attention to details.
Shafiq holds a BSc in Civil Engineer and MSc in Civil Engineering from New York, USA.
Fraih Saeed Helal Al Qubaisi is considered one of the youth entrepreneurs’ generation that is contributing significantly to the development of the United Arab Emirates.
Al Qubaisi’s many achievements have contributed to serve the nation through his career progression within the Government sector of more than twenty years.
He has distinguished managerial experience across several sectors, including property development, finance, business and technology.

Al Qubaisi always endeavours to support youth entrepreneurs who are passionate about entering the business and gaining experience, by training local young people and helping them to qualify and become future entrepreneurs.
Al Qubaisi holds a B.Sc. in Police & Law Sciences from the College of Police in Abu Dhabi.
Mr. Alhosani is a UAE national, with (10) years of experience in the senior management of investment with an emphasis on Real Estate investments. He has a BA from the American University of Dubai and an MBA from the University of Wales. Mr. Alhosani is currently the Head of the Real Estate Department of Alsalem Trading Ltd (Holding Company) where he manages the real estate portfolio of the Company. In addition to the above, Mr. Alhosani sits on the Board of Sharjah Cement Industrial Development Co PJSC and Sharjah Insurance Company PJSC, as well as a Board Member of the Al Khaleej investment Co, and Um Al Quwain General Investment Co.
